The Mantis is a single-seat interdiction vessel developed by Roberts Space Industries. It possesses the ability to extract targets from quantum travel through a mechanism known as "Quantum Enforcement." Possessing little armor and weaponry, the Mantis is intended to operate alongside more heavily armed allies to engage apprehended vessels.

• Quantum Enforcement Device: The Mantis features a Quantum Enforcement Device (QED) with three rings at the rear, designed to inhibit quantum travel. It can be activated via "Quantum Snare" or "Quantum Dampening." It is the only ship in the game with a quantum snare
• Quantum Snare: This is a function exclusive to the Mantis' Reynie QED. It creates a "bubble" with a range of 20 kilometers around the vessel, preventing quantum travel and pulls QTing ships out of quantum.
